The Time Was Right for Downflo® WorkStations

The timing of the introduction of Donaldson Torit’s new Downflo WorkStations couldn’t have been better for a metal processor. Prior to discovering DWS, this manufacturer whose processing requires welding, sanding and grinding of various metals, was trying to figure out how to cut high inlets into Environmental Control Booth (ECB) power mods to accommodate the various applications.

Along came the new DWS family of modular, self-contained dust collectors that require no hoods or ductwork and offered a high inlet option. The availability of side shields and caster packs that can turn and accommodate two worktables within one work cell sealed the deal.

This manufacturer ordered 18 DWS collectors with caster packs, canopy roofs and side shields the very first month that DWS was introduced. In addition, the manufacturer needed the DWS collector delivered within a month, which Donaldson Torit was able to accommodate.
